What’s crackin’?
I woke up this morning and noticed something alarming. Not only the coughs still holding me hostage, now my right knee is stiffer and heavier than usual. No pain. But each time I bent it, I would hear a soft cracking sound, similar to when one wrinkles a paper or plastic. This. Can’t. Be. Good.
My mum once told me, the day I turned a year old was the day I started walking. I can’t help but feeling how old I’ve gotten, now that my knee is making that funny sound. I’ve always looked forward to getting older and getting wiser. Now getting older seems more like a bummer, especially when I get ill way too often in this past couple of years.

Getting older is a gift of nature - getting wiser is a gift we give ourselves
Body may say certain things to you, but the mind has a much more broader message. If your mind is in sinc with you body, in the sense, that your body makes noises, so your mind defines them as old. Then you will become old sooner than later. But, if your body talks one way and your mind goes beyond that noise to another realization of progress and evolution, then, you will be old later than sooner.
Well, that's life I suppose. I have a cold too, and the coughing usually comes last and stays on for a couple of weeks at least!
I hear many more cracks, creaks, and pops as the years pass... must be the parts reaching the end of their warranty.
Signs of aging? But it only means you gotta enjoy life more!
Stop whining. You don't want to know how old I am. And use a heating pad or a hot water bottle to your knee.
Cod liver oil?
Make the most of it
I agree with you about the getting older part
Too bad the fountain of eternal youth doesn't exist

@oxyGENE_08 - and i assume YOU know how to show me how to have a proper good time, gene?
@ZSA_MD - yes MAM! :)

@stepaside_loser - how? how?
@Devilzgaysianboi - guess that's what it means to be a human.
@rudyhou - haha I think I do.
I am sure whatever it is, the friendly doctors at Mount E. can fix it. In fact, they would love to fix it and present you with a hefty bill.
@rudyhou - Wait, I take it back. There's no hope for you, Rudy. No hope at all!
@rudyhou - Well, the weather here is about the same as the weather there, so shouldn't be a problem to travel. Your body will be used to the environment!
