  • Nice! I had a chance to try a Pilot with the "special nib" (I think called FA - has little "cuts" like the Nakaya - making it flex).

  • It is a beautiful pen and I love using it.

  • Very cool. I like your handwriting Rudi. I wonder if I will be able to get the ink here in the US.

  • Hmm...nice penmenship.  I wonder what you wrote in that 'little black book'? :P

  • I want to peek inside the book too.  You do have a very nice handwriting.

    This entry is like fountain pen porn.

  • I have never had such handwriting as that. Have you always been so meticulous about it?

  • @beowulf222 - never have i heard of FA nib before.  nor have i seen one.  maybe the next time i see you in spore you could show me.  i plan to bring a few pens to HK for you to try, nick :)

    @Got_Takoyaki - thank you, tako :)

    @Fatcat723 - you mean you have pilot custom 74 as well, robert?  n with the exact same color?

    @ZSA_MD - thank you, zakiah.  though diamine may be a british ink brand, you CAN get it in the states.  i'm sure there are several shops/websites who offer it, but one in particular that i could recommend is http://www.gouletpens.com/.  on the website, you can compare the many colors and/or brands side by side to help you decide which one you would prefer best.

    @CurryPuffy - @ElusiveWords - thank you, guys.  it's a notebook i carry during travels for travel logs.  nothing incriminating on the content, i assure you.  well, at least i don't think so ;)

    @secade - me? meticulous? far from it.  i usually don't write as nice.  this one was written with a slower speed than i would usually allow myself to do.  though i took great patience writing it, the focus is on the pen and ink, not my penmanship.

  • It's really cool that you have such a hobby and you truly appreciate using such high quality and classic form of writing. It definitely makes things a lot more interesting than the boring old normal pen ! I have to wonder how much that sort of thing costs though, I have a feeling it isn't cheap ! Take care and have a great start to the week, bye for now.

  • Please bring to Bangkok to demonstrate. LOL

  • @kyle061685 - i kinda miss the old way of ink on paper.  you don't get a taste of someone's personality/character by getting a typed message.  the fact that now a days the use of pen for writing is almost obsolete, it makes the effort considered a lot more personal.  and for those who still enjoy the classic way of 'writing', fountain pens can now be found in many brands and in many levels of quality, made in many countries.  you can get one for US$1 or $10,000.  depending on your taste and budget.  what makes it even more fun is the fact that you can play around with many colors of ink available to suit your mood and personality.  the fountain pen inks themselves come in many brands and price level.

    @ahmd1430 - once again, what on earth are you talking about?  i was talking about PEN.  make sure you post a comment that is appropriate to the blog you are commenting on.  that is assuming you CAN READ.

    @christao408 - well then, i sure will :)

  • @dmcx2010 - thanks for stopping by :)

    @Celestial_Teapot - thank you.  for stopping by and leaving a comment.  much appreciated :)
