  • I thought you went to the real amazon from the title

  • Great way to start the day and year!!

  • Not bad at all.  Happy New Year!

  • Wonderful surprise!

  • @beowulf222 - isn't it?  i shall be expecting one from vienna next year :p

@CurryPuffy - most are places i have never seen or heard of.  such a great collection in a single book.

@Got_Takoyaki - if you are a traveler or have a fascination on foreign places, then it is worth getting.  many of the places in the content are places i have never seen or heard of, and so i find them interesting.

@Wangium - lol.  wouldn't that be something if i really did go to the amazon.  i would blog a totally different post.  maybe more than one.  and post pics for you all to envy :)

@Fatcat723 - most definitely.  hope yours started in a good way also.

@Roadlesstaken - yup, not bad at all.  happy new year to you and your lovie as well :)

@andreas_d - yes, isn't it?  gets me feeling optimistic for what comes later this year.  thank you for the rec, andreas.

  • How wonderful Rudy. I am so happy for you. I hope you will like that book. How's the book you are reading (CHEF)? I am so glad you had such a good time in HK with Gary and Chris.

  • That's very nice. No one sends me books, just boxes that tick with a return address in the state of IEDaho. Hope you enjoy the book! Peace

  • @ZSA_MD - yes, i had such a great time in HK.  both chris and gary were the perfect guides and companions for eating :)  as for the book 'chef', it is nicely written.  some food descriptions kept me glued to the book, but the author's best effort is in the story and how he used human relationship and behaviors as the key ingredients to the plot.

@AOK4WAY - thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.  much appreciated :)
