2013 calendar.
It's the year of snake. Here’s a peek at this year’s company’s newly issued desk calendar and daily planner booklet for our customers:
Let’s just hope the customers can appreciate them. We spent weeks together with the printing vendor scrutinizing every single detail of the outer design and inner content, from font, to color choices, to paper thickness, to pictures. As you may have already guessed, the theme is JAPAN, as it always is every year. I’m just glad we are able to have them sent out on time to welcome the new year. Phew!
(This is a super duper late posting. They were done and sent out in December 2012)

I like the lucky cat design, so cute! It appears you guys spent quite a handsome figure producing these freebies. I'm pretty sure the customers will appreciate all these gestures
Cat and sword ... where is the snake there?
Very nice design. I always like calendars from companies although eventually end up with more than I can use. A well designed calendar earns its place on my desk, though.
I like the designs and would keep it on my desk and not in the drawer with the others we get at the office!
I like the samurai sword calendar.
I like it Rudy. I love desk top calenders. Every year i get an Ansel Adams calender and keep it here. I love his photography.
Well I'm glad you got them sent out in December, no one would enjoy receiving a calendar too late ! It's amazing how much effort was put into the design of the calendars.. I'm sure they'll be greatly appreciated. I remember every year in high school we all had to get the school planners which were simular to what you have posted, and they had everyday with lines to write homework and stuff.
I remember always wanting to use it regularly, but I never was able to, and after the first few school days in September I basically forgot about it and never used it. Hopefully people in the business world can appreciate those calendars much more than the average high school student ! Though I'm not sure in these days if people have everything programmed in to their cell phone agendas, but really nothing beats the original, so I think they'll be used well.
Take care and enjoy the rest of the week, bye for now.
Kyle
Looks sharp! Nicely done!
@CurryPuffy - yeah, they are not cheap, gary. we use the same printing vendor from year to year, so the cost won't be too high.
@beowulf222 - lol. yeah, no snake there, nick. not exactly a welcoming picture figure on a calendar. but can you see that 'curve' line on the cover of the calendar, as well as on the bottom part of the monthly page, such as the one for january (as shown)? yeah, the implication is there, though subtle.
@christao408 - thanks chris. ah, so you are a calendar collector. never knew that about you.
@Fatcat723 - thank you robert. it means a lot to hear that.
@ElusiveWords - thanks matt. we sell cutting tools for steel materials, so we wanted to post a picture that that exudes a sense of 'strength' and 'durability'.
@ZSA_MD - thank you zakiah. ansel adams you say? wow, that's even better than this one. i have a couple of his photography books. he is definitely one of the best. i love his work.
@kyle061685 - thank you kyle. personally i don't use the desk calendar much. but i do rely heavily on the daily planner booklet. it is so much easier to plan out your week or month in advance when you have the pages in front of you to flip over. i don't even use the daily planner on my iphone. what can i say, i'm a bit old fashion. pen/pencil on paper, always.
@CareyGLY - thank you carey. glad you like them
